The Frameshop Jack Eastep Built

Many people have a dream, but not many people are blessed to have a father who has the skills to help make that dream come true. When you've got a frame shop to build you need a Jack-of-all-trades. How fortunate are you when your dad is just that man?! Jack Eastep was a sheet metal worker who had his own business and provided for a wife and eight kids. He was also a craftsman who honed his trade and took pride in his work. He worked hard all his life and was a man of character who kept his promises.

Thank you, Dad. Because of you I have realized my dream of having my own frame shop. I wouldn't have a frame shop now if it weren't for you and all your efforts — brainstorming, rocking, mudding, taping, drilling, attaching, setting up, velcroing, painting, hanging, installing, listening, leveling, financing, consulting, road-tripping, contracting, designing, Home-Depoting, praying, sweating, and many other undocumented activities. That's a whole lot of verbs. Most people would be tired just reading them. Of course, we know that there was a Master Architect in this venture, but I am convinced that God doesn't mind if I dub Artisan Framing Studio, The Frameshop that Jack Eastep Built. Without you and all of your skids, Dad, Artisan Framing Studio would probably still be in the dreaming stage. Thank you for making my dream a reality. You are my hero without a cape.
